Animal - Lion
Lion (Panthera leo)
A male Lion stands 120cm/47” tall at the shoulder. A pride consists of a dominant male and female, ranging between 10 and 30 animals. Cubs are usually at great risk in the pride due to the dominant male that may, without concrete reason, kill them. Usually the females do the hunting. Lion roars are quite impressive and can be heard over far distances. Mostly nocturnal, they are sluggish during daytime hours, resting in the shade for most part of the day.
Penetration is easily achieved with these thin-skinned felines. Broadside and quartering away shots most advised.
